I grew up involved in ministry as part of my parent’s pastoral team.  Pastor Jack and Grace pioneered Tigard Foursquare and continue to minister and bless us!  While serving with them, God led me through an untraditional route to becoming Senior Pastor.  I received my Master’s in Art Therapy, and developed my counseling skills working as an Art Therapist Counselor for a high school for learning disabilities.  I worked part time for Tigard Foursquare while also counseling for over 10 years, when God began to prepare me for change.  I became Senior Pastor in September of 2011.  My high school sweetheart, Brian, has faithfully walked beside me serving others and raising our two amazing miracle daughters, Makayla and Teresa.  And then adding the gift of our two adopted miracles, Emma and Mateo.  Brian recognized this transition was coming before I did, and I am thankful for his strength and support.  My favorite title is “Pastor Mommy,” given by Teresa.  Our family shares the vision of nurturing a unique intergenerational church, honoring the past while embracing the future, and reaching out and blessing our community.  The goal and focus of our first year was, “Life in His Name,” from John 20:31.  We continue to boldly move forward in His name and grace.  As we reflect on the beginning of our ministry, we marvel at God’s faithfulness, share excitement in His gentle leading, and pray for His continued anointing to pour through us for His glory!
